Decorating my home for Christmas is one of my favourite parts of the festive period! I try to reuse my decorations each year and treat myself to one or two items that will update the look. This year I can’t resist these cute and quirky, paper mache birds which are made from recycled newspapers and hand painted by a small family business based in Kashmir. I’m also tempted by this recycled fair trade Christmas wreath made by hand out of waste tin, by a small fair trade co-operative in Malawi. It’s fun, festive and will look great on my front door next to some solar powered Christmas fairy lights!
Other eco festive creations not to be missed this season include unusual tree decorations made from recycled circuit boards, felt eco tinsel, recycled paper white snowflakes and palm garland made from ecologically gathered palm leaves.
Or… why not get the whole family involved with making your own DIY Christmas decorations? There are some fab festive ideas here, including home made Christmas crackers, table place names, wreaths and more!

Very informative post. I've found your blog via Yahoo and I'm really glad about the information you provide in your articles. Btw your blogs layout is really broken on the Kmelon browser. Would be cool if you could fix that. Anyhow keep up the great work!
