Florence Welch aka front-woman of Florence and The Machine shot to fame in 2009 after launching her debut album ‘Lungs’, winning the BRIT Awards Critics’ Choice and being nominated for a Mercury Music Prize. I have long been a fan of Florence’s folksy bohemian come gothic style; whimsical dresses and floaty capes, teamed with killer heels and fiery red hair. Her eccentric outfits become part of her breathtaking performances on stage and compliment her uniquely haunting voice and quirky melodies. ‘Lungs’ for me was the soundtrack of 2009, I can’t wait to see what Florence has in store for 2010!
