On average we boil twice the amount of water needed every time we make a cuppa, wasting electricity, time and money.
Using an Eco Kettle leads to an average energy saving of 31% – so, in theory, it should eventually pay for itself.
The clever bit is that there are two separate chambers. Fill the first by popping open the lid; then, when you want to boil some water, simply press down the lid’s ECO control knob and the water transfers into a measured, see-through boiling chamber.
I immediately noticed how much quicker the Eco Kettle boils (so was probably guilty of over-filling my old one), and now really think about how much water I actually need. The process takes no getting used to, and the kettle – which was invented, designed and developed in the UK – is sleek and attractive.

* In UK consumer trials directed by the Energy Saving Trust, the Eco Kettle used an average of 31% less energy in normal everyday use than ordinary kettles.

The Eco Kettle is a great piece of kit. I love the fact you can boil the water you need without having to fill up individual mugs. The temperature contro, is a great addition also. I always find boiling water too hot to drink so 90 degrees makes a perfect cup for me.
